During a birthday celebration at a relative’s house, a woman placed her silver bracelet on a dressing table before helping in the kitchen. Later that evening, the bracelet was gone.

Three people had entered the bedroom:
  • Her brother, who said he went in to look for a phone charger
  • Her aunt, who claimed she was putting away clean laundry
  • Her teenage cousin, who admitted she tried on the bracelet earlier “just to see how it looked”.
The bracelet was later discovered inside a small makeup pouch hidden in a drawer.
