  • From 738, digits 7, 3, and 8 are not in the code. 
  • From 780, only 0 can be correct (7 and 8 are excluded), but it’s in the wrong position. 
  • From 206, two digits are correct but wrongly placed → 0 is one of them, and 2 or 6 is the other. 
  • From 682, since 8 is excluded, 2 must be correct and in the right position → third digit. 
  • From 614, only 4 can be correct but misplaced.
